Unit values (USD per metric tonne) reveal the quality positioning of countries in global trade. Countries with higher unit values for the same product code are typically exporting higher-quality or more differentiated varieties.

Methodology: Unit values are USD per metric tonne: for each reporter, HS6 product and year, every partner flow with positive value and positive quantity contributes value x 1,000 / quantity, and the table stores the mean and the median of those partner unit values together with the partner count. Higher unit values may indicate product differentiation or quality differences across suppliers.
